1 Year On

 

I didn’t have any of these things a year ago – not the dog, not the blanket, not the sofa they are both artfully draped upon. Not the sense of contentment in my living space, either.

It’s a year today that we moved into our semi-rural sprawling home. Which makes it 13 months ago that we went off on a whim to see a house in a town we’d never been to, 20 miles away from everything we knew, like crazy fools. How wonderfully it has worked out though. Here’s to, at the very least, another year of contentment.
